The longer you play, the slower it gets

It seems that the longer you play the longer the game takes to respond to a mouse-click. Theres something up there that really needs to be fixed. Im on a 27" iMac, 3.4GHz i7 with 16GB, so memory and speed should not be an issue. I love the game - but it really gets pretty unplayable after a while.

As an aside - to those having problems attaching the cables - you can pan over by moving the mouse over to the edge of the screen, and if you pan a little you will find that you can attach those cables.
